Short Description

We are the local group of the human rights organisation Amnesty International. With various actions we raise awareness of human rights violations and put pressure on those responsible.

Long Description

We are the local group of the human rights organisation Amnesty International. The group was founded by Susan Kubitz in June 2003 during the International Students Week Ilmenau (ISWI). Our group mostly consists of students at the Technische Universität Ilmenau. With our work, we locally support the campaigns of Amnesty, raise awareness of human rights violations worldwide and put pressure on those responsible. For that purpose we organise protests, informative meetings, movie screenings, workshops and more.
