Focolare Movement is a movement that works for the united world making a wide variety of activities. Even though it belongs to catholic church, ecumenism and 360° dialogue is one of our most imortant characteristics. We are set up in more than 182 countries.
Detailed description
As Focolare Movement started during the II world war, the goal was really clear: to make a united world in a belic situation like that. It started in Trento (Italia) but was quickly spread all over the world. Although it is based on Catholic Church, we work with everyone and we have different projects so people who is from other religion or doesn’t belong to any one can participate. The people that work here is really different. As a consequence, so many activities (from art to politics, economis or sports for eg) have been developed. Nowadays, the challenge of building a united world is our most important goal and our motivation also.
