Short description
Green Ghana is working to reduce rural youth unemployment in rural communities by equipping rural youth between the ages of 18 to 35 years with entrepreneurship skills training using the innovative methods of organic farming to start their own agribusiness. Green Ghana has been formed as a profit-making venture located in the Tagadzi community outside of Accra in the North Tongue district in the Volta Region of Ghana. Green Ghana is working hard to become a leading local organization training entrepreneurs and producing pure organic food for the local markets in Ghana. The main objective of the project is to transform rural youth into individuals who see sustainable livelihood opportunities in their communities and give them the skills to facilitate self-employment.
Through a one year training program, Green Ghana will combine organic farming and entrepreneurship training to create a practical and integrated learning experience for unemployed youth. This will equip them with relevant skills to start their own agribusinesses after completing the training.
