Long Description

The Greifswald International Students Festival (GrIStuF) is a biannual festival hosted by volunteers in North East Germany. Its aim is to connect students from all over the world in dialogue beyond nationalities, race or religion. It provides a platform for exchanging ideas and enables discussion on current topics. Participants will have the chance to exchange their experience, ideas and opinions in order to broaden their knowledge and change perspectives on the topic. Next years theme will challenge the participants to engage with the question: “where is your border?”. We want to approach the subject from the “obvious” political and globally important point of view, as well as a social, religious, economic, creative, and personal perspective. Where are our personal limits? Is a world without borders a utopia? Cultural events such as film screenings and music that suit the motto will complete the program. Apart from the festival, GrIStuF enriches the city of GreifswaldÕs cultural scene with the “FĂȘte de la Musique” every year in June and the “Running Dinner” once a semester.
