Our vision is to be the voice of women of the social communities, fighting the domestic violence, advancing female leadership, recognizing women’s achievements and promoting contributions to their professions, companies, and neighborhoods.

Detailed description

The name of the organization is “GRONO:Initiative Generation of Women”. It is a Ukrainian NGO, dedicated to the community improvement by enhancing the lives of women through the educational, informative, legal and self-defense services. Our vision is to be the voice of women of the social communities, fighting the domestic violence, advancing female leadership, recognizing women’s achievements and promoting contributions to their professions, companies, and neighborhoods. We are committed to the just and inclusive world without discrimination, sexism, ableism, ageism, and oppression, supporting the psychological development and well-being of Ukrainian women.

So far, we have been working of three main projects: “The City though the Point of View of Women”. The objective is to promote women’s participation in civil life and report about the needed areas of dveelopment in the town. “Stop Gender Inequality in Jobs Advertisements”. The aim is to inform the society about the importance of fair and unbiased job advertisements, interviews and selection. “Historical Women’s Night”, which is an annual global femnist event, which aims to spread information about notable women in history with the help of non-violent communicative methods.
