Short Description

We are from the Children’s and Youth Advisory Council, which is the representative of children and young people living in Ilmenau city. Our main goal is to raise voice of children and young people in the city, and to make sure that they are involved in making decisions which affect their lives.

Long Description

We are from the Children’s and Youth Advisory Council, which is the representative of children and young people living in Ilmenau city. We have right to take part in decision-making process, which is important to our growth.

The council consists of a committee elected by children and adolescents, which will corporate with the children community centre to organize social activities.

We warmly welcome all friends from 9 to 24 years old to The Children’s and Youth Advisory Council, our “big family”, no matter they are students in university or in college.

Our main goal in the council is to raise voice of children and young people in the city, and to make sure that they are involved in making decisions which affect their lives.

In specifically, all ideas, complaints, proposals of children and young people will be heard by the committee then transferred to the representative of the Ilmenau city, where they will be considered and solved as soon as possible. In other words, all reasonable aspirations of children and young people will be directly sent to the local government.

Last but not least, one of most important mission of the council is to organize useful and meaningful events for children and young people. If they are interested in some of these activities, they are welcome to be participants as well.
