Le Goumé is a collective that first of all just loves to make good food. Besides, it is important for us to cook mainly vegan and use regional, seasonal and organic ingridients.
Description
Le Goumé is a cooking collective. We are a group of equal members and we give our best to organize ourselves without any hierachical structures. In our decision making processes we like to reach a consensus on each topic.
Of course, we love food, cooking, eating and we are convinced that the food tastes much better when the cooks enjoyed making it. So a pinch of passion and fun are essentials in our kitchen.
It is important to us to cook mainly with products that are seasonal, regional and organic and we are trying to meet these expectations at every event. We also cook mostly vegan food and avoid waste.
We always see Le Goumé as part of the events where we are cooking at and do not consider ourselves as service personnel. For that reason, people who like to help us and who like to have a little insight into a bigger kitchen, who would like to know our receipes or just need a break from the event, are always warmly welcome! We like to share 🙂
Finally, transparency is important to us. In case anyone has questions about from where we get our food or how expensive it was, we are always willing to answer these questions. When sharing the profit or the salary that we get,we take into account who needs/wants what amount of money as some us live on what we earn from cooking and others don‘t. Still, in most cases we share equally.
